ABPR implemented the project entitled “Integrated model for entrepreneurial development in the urban centres of three regions” with the aim of developing the entrepreneurial spirit and improving the entrepreneurial skills of persons form the North-Western, Central and Western development regions of Romania. The project partners were: Research Center on Inter-ethnic Relations (RO), LAM Foundation (RO), Hungarian Business Association in Romania (RO), and Türr István Training and Research Institute’s Regional Training Centre in Békéscsaba (HU).
The concept of the project was based on a new and comprehensive idea, according to which the primary objective of the project was stimulating business development and increasing the employment rate in the towns of the above-mentioned development regions by creating new businesses, on the one hand, and strengthening existing businesses, on the other hand. The project resulted in the creation of three regional business development centres; 585 persons attended the courses organised within the frameworks of the project, 65 of who started new businesses.
