Course description:

The Common Competences Course – Social and Civic Competences is a comprehensive learning experience designed to develop essential skills in social interaction and civic engagement. This specialized course, structured over 40 hours, covers a variety of topics relevant to life in society and active contribution to the community.

The topics covered in the course are:

  • Module 1: Life in Society: Participants will explore the concepts and dynamics of social life, including individual and collective roles in society, social norms and values, and learn to navigate various social contexts.
  • Module 2: Freedom and Responsibility: This module focuses on understanding the concepts of freedom and responsibility and developing the skills to navigate consciously and ethically in a democratic society.
  • Module 3: Sustainable Development: Learners will explore the concepts of sustainable development, learning about the importance of conserving natural resources, protecting the environment and promoting a sustainable lifestyle.
  • Module 4: Equality of opportunity: This module examines the principles and practices underpinning equality of opportunity in various areas of social and professional life, encouraging a fair and inclusive approach.
  • Module 5: Codes of Conduct: The course addresses codes of conduct and ethics in various social and professional contexts, helping participants to understand and apply the norms and values that govern appropriate and respectful behavior.

Through these modules, participants will acquire essential knowledge and skills to interact constructively in society and actively contribute to the promotion of fundamental civic and social values. This course provides a framework for developing responsible and engaged citizenship in a diverse and interconnected world.

 

At the end of the course, after passing the final exam, participants will receive an Accredited Certificate of the accredited course.
