The course offers flexibility in terms of the theoretical part, allowing participants to complete it in a way that is adaptable to their needs and schedule. As for the practical part of the course, it requires the presence of the Volunteer Firefighter Center in Diosig, which is equipped with all the necessary facilities and equipment to carry out this component of the course.
Course description:
The Firefighter Course prepares participants to be part of emergency crews and to manage various emergency situations, helping to protect life, property and the environment. It is tailored to train staff within the voluntary or private emergency services, providing the knowledge and skills needed to respond to the various challenges and risks of emergency response.

The Firefighter Course is structured into six essential modules, each addressing distinct aspects of emergency preparedness and response.
- Within Module 1, the focus is on carrying out emergency response preparedness activities. Here, trainees learn about the knowledge and handling of protective accessories, climbing techniques and aspects related to the preparation and conduct of professional competitions. In addition, essential concepts related to fires and their risks and sources are examined.
- Module 2, Conducting pre-response activities in emergency situations, explores the organization of groups and the duties of attendants prior to intervention. Trainees learn about forming and moving teams to the scene, identifying hazardous substances and emergency evacuation procedures.
- In Module 3, Execution of intervention in emergency situations, specific techniques for extinguishing fires, providing first medical aid and managing various emergency situations, such as floods or nuclear accidents, are addressed.
- Module 4 focuses on the Maintenance of technical means of intervention from the endowment, where you learn aspects related to the classification of technical means, operating rules and technical assistance for special vehicles and accessories.
- The application of the legal provisions relating to health and safety at work is the subject of Module 5. Here, the specific risks of the firefighter’s activity are examined, as well as the methods of intervention in case of accidents.
- The last module, Module 6, deals with the Application of Environmental Protection Regulations, where environmental protection legislation is explored and methods of reducing environmental risks and the consumption of natural resources are learned.
These modules cover a wide range of knowledge and skills needed to act effectively in emergency situations and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all involved.
At the end of the course, after passing the final exam, participants will receive an Accredited Certificate of the accredited course.
