Assertive Communication Workshop
Why attend?
Do you have trouble clearly expressing your opinions, needs, or boundaries in your relationships with others? Do you find that your messages are often misunderstood, or do you avoid certain conversations for fear of creating tension? Assertive communication is an essential skill that helps you express yourself openly, directly, and respectfully, without compromising your own rights or hurting others.
This assertive communication workshop provides you with the right framework to understand how communication works, why communication barriers arise, and how you can build clearer, more balanced, and more effective relationships, both in your personal and professional life.
Participating in the assertive communication workshop will help you improve the way you communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and business partners, as well as with family and friends. You’ll learn how to express your point of view with confidence, how to say “no” when necessary, how to handle difficult conversations, and how to avoid conflicts caused by misunderstandings or poor communication.
This activity is part of the workshop component of the Practindermed project and contributes to the development of the soft skills necessary for integration into the labor market. The workshop is designed for the 251 students involved in the project and aims to improve interpersonal and professional communication, which is essential for collaboration, adaptability, and performance.
