As a partner in this project, ROVE has set out to provide unemployed individuals in Bihor County with useful vocational training courses, helping them acquire practical knowledge that will assist them in entering the labor market. ROVE has made no secret of its intention to train potential entrepreneurs, offering participants courses, counseling, and mentoring services, and guiding them through the process of creating startups, so that these individuals can participate with greater confidence in the development of the region’s business environment.
200 people domiciled or residing in rural areas of Bihor County—whether unemployed or engaged in subsistence farming—participated in our training courses for agritourism farm workers, tour guide, entrepreneurial skills, and foreign languages (beginner English, advanced English, and beginner German). As a result of the counseling, 40 marketing strategies and 46 business plans were developed, 6 of which received awards.
